Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Will the 31.6-inch CT32150 body fit beneath a 32-inch height limit?
Lasko lists a 31.6-inch body, so it fits a 32-inch body cap but not a 31-inch cap. Body height does not include the manual's separate operating clearances.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need at least three selectable heat levels?
The exact CT32150 manual names High, Medium and Low. It meets a three-level requirement, but the sources do not assign separate wattages to those modes.
Explore this need in the finder →Would an off countdown be useful for a supervised session?
The exact manual gives an auto-off countdown up to 12 hours. It is not a timer that starts the heater later and does not permit unattended operation.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need a physical remote, and is app control different?
Lasko includes a remote with one CR2025 battery. The product page says the CT32150 has no app compatibility; choosing app control as essential excludes it.
Explore this need in the finder →Can you require an exact oscillation angle from the CT32150?
The product page lists oscillation and the manual has a base-oscillation control, but neither states the sweep angle or axis. It can fit a general indoor plan if no exact arc is essential; an essential numeric minimum is not established.
Explore this need in the finder →Is its documented dry-room floor plan allowed in a bathroom?
No. The exact manual excludes bathrooms, laundry rooms, wet or damp locations and outdoor use. A compliant plan is supervised, dry indoor floor placement with the prescribed clearance and outlet.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the CT32150 keep moving air when you do not want heat?
It is a fan-forced heater, but its exact controls/manual do not document a selectable fan-only setting. It is suitable only if fan-only circulation is not an essential need.
Explore this need in the finder →Lasko’s CT32150 is a tall, black ceramic tower heater with three heat levels, an Auto Eco thermostat, base oscillation, a remote and a 12-hour shutoff timer. Its appeal is a fuller control set in a narrow floor footprint; the compromises are its 31.6-inch body and an oscillation arc the manufacturer does not quantify. The exact manual supports supervised, dry indoor use only, with broad clearances and a direct wall outlet.
One exact finish, a notably tall body
The current U.S. All Heaters row identifies one Black variant, SKU CT32150, under the Lasko 32-inch Digital Ceramic Tower Space Heater listing. Lasko’s product page gives the heater body as 31.6 inches high and 9.5 by 9.5 inches at its base. The base needs simple no-tool assembly. Even with that narrow base, the manual requires three feet in front and one foot at the sides and rear from combustibles. Measure those clearances and the outlet, not just the footprint.
The page describes this as a medium-to-large-room heater and lists coverage up to 300 square feet. That is Lasko’s own coverage claim, not a measured promise that this heater will warm any 300-square-foot room evenly or quickly. It is a fan-forced ceramic appliance, not a fanless convection panel. The product page lists 120 volts, a 900–1,500-watt output range and a 1,500-watt maximum. Neither the page nor the exact manual maps those watts to the three modes, so the lower heat choices should not be treated as verified circuit-load figures.
Three heat choices with automatic room-temperature control
The manual names H1 Low, H2 Medium and H3 High. Auto Eco lets you set a desired room temperature from the heater or remote. The booklet describes a specific sequence: below the target, the element runs on High; at the target it steps down to Low; after the room rises more than two degrees Fahrenheit above the target, the element turns off. The fan continues for 15 seconds after the element shuts off. This makes Auto Eco more useful than a simple pair of heat buttons for someone who wants the unit to modulate around a target, but it is not a separately tested room thermostat. The materials checked do not give a supported setpoint range, lower-mode wattage or temperature accuracy.
There is a timer, but it is an elapsed shutoff countdown, not a delayed start. The manual allows up to 12 hours: half-hour steps through two hours, then one-hour steps up to 12. If scheduled preheating is essential, this is the wrong control. A shorter countdown is a convenience, not permission to leave the heater unattended.
Remote, display and movement
A remote is included, its CR2025 cell is supplied, and the manual shows a storage hook on the back of the heater. The remote can switch power, heat mode, Auto Eco, base oscillation and the timer. The display automatically dims after 10 seconds; a separate remote “Display Snooze” button turns the display on or off. That is useful if the light is distracting, but it is not a named Night Mode, a selectable dimming level or a sound-mute control. Lasko lists no phone-app compatibility for this model.
The product page promotes widespread oscillation and the manual has a base-oscillation button. Neither source states the sweep angle or expressly identifies the movement axis, so do not buy it to meet a required minimum-degree arc. It also has no separate fan-only mode documented. If air movement without heat, a known sweep angle or a specific upward/downward aim matters, consider the DREO Whole-Room Heater 517 for a documented 70-degree horizontal sweep, separate fan-only mode and manual vertical tilt, or the Lasko CT22360 for its documented 90-, 170- or 360-degree sweep. Neither alternative changes the need to follow its own manual.
Set-up limits matter more than the tower shape
For a compliant operating plan, assemble the base, place the heater upright on a stable, flat, level floor, and preserve three feet of front and one foot of side and rear combustible clearance. Use a direct 120-volt wall receptacle only. The manual prohibits extension cords, power strips, surge protectors and other cord-connected adapters; it also says not to share the outlet or circuit with other devices. Keep the cord out from under rugs and away from foot traffic.
This is not a bathroom or laundry-room heater. Its manual excludes wet or damp locations, bathrooms, outdoor use, agricultural facilities and hazardous locations, and says the heater should not be left operating unattended. Tip-over and thermal-overload protection are listed, but they do not cancel those restrictions. After an overheat trip, the manual says to unplug the unit and let it cool for 10 minutes before resetting. Vacuum the intake grilles about every two weeks with a brush attachment; unplug before moving or cleaning and do not dismantle it. The page lists ETL certification and a three-year limited warranty.
Who should choose it?
The CT32150 fits someone who can accommodate a 32-inch-class tower and its full clearances, wants three heat steps and Auto Eco, and values an included remote plus an off countdown. The Lasko CC20125 is shorter at 20.27 inches and has the same three-level / Auto Eco / remote / 12-hour countdown combination, but adds a hand-adjustable vertical louver and does not oscillate. The CT32150 instead has base oscillation, though its angle is unspecified. The shorter Lasko CT22360 offers a quantified 90-, 170- or 360-degree oscillation choice but has two heat settings and no timer. These controls distinguish their uses; they do not establish which one heats faster or more evenly.
Look elsewhere if a 32-inch body will not fit, a fan-only mode or app is essential, a numerical sweep angle is required, or the intended place is damp, a bathroom, outdoors or one where you cannot supervise operation. The three-heater comparison may help distinguish the control sets. The Lasko CT32150 product page and its model-specific Rev. A 12/24 manual are the sources for the exact configuration reviewed here.
