Lasko CT24362 vs CT22360 vs CC24810

Three black Lasko heaters can turn air in more than one direction, but they are not interchangeable: CT24362 and CT22360 rotate an upper air director, while CC24810 is a console with powered louvers and no documented numerical sweep. Compare the exact control and clearance needs—not the broad “whole-room” phrasing in product titles.

CT24362: three heat levels and an eight-hour shutoff

CT24362 is the 24.1-inch tower in this group. Its exact manual offers 90°, 180° and 360° movement of the upper outlet, plus H1 Low, H2 Medium and H3 High, Auto Eco and an included handheld remote with two AAA batteries. The off timer reaches eight hours. Its 9.2-inch-square body footprint is narrower than the consoles, but the complete placement still needs 36 inches in front and 12 inches at the sides and rear. The current page lists a 750–1,500-watt range without matching wattages to individual heat levels.

Choose this one to get a full-circle setting, three heat levels and an off countdown together. Do not read “360°” as a room-heating performance score; the manual documents the outlet’s selectable arc, not uniform temperature or a larger real-world coverage area. The page's 150-square-foot maximum is a manufacturer estimate. The heater also lacks a separately documented fan-only mode, app control and delayed start.

CT22360: similar sweep choices, fewer timing and heat choices

The shorter CT22360 is listed at 21.88 inches high and shares a 90°/full-circle 360° sweep, but the Rev. D 12/23 manual specifies 90°, 170° and 360° rather than CT24362's 90°, 180° and 360°. CT22360 has two heat settings and an included remote; its current product page does not list a timer. If two heat levels are sufficient and a lower body is useful, it is the more compact full-circle alternative. It still requires its own clearances and it is not a fan-only room circulator.

CC24810: fan-only modes, powered louvers and a longer timer

CC24810 is a wider ceramic console, listed at 23.29 by 14.1 by 6.61 inches. Its manual documents three heat settings, two fan-only speeds (F1 and F2), powered outlet louvers, a control lock and a 12-hour off countdown. That may be more useful than a rotating tower when you specifically want air movement without heat or the extra four hours of shutoff timing. The manual does not name the louver axis or angle, and the product page separately states no oscillation; do not treat its louver button as proof of a 90° or 360° rotating tower sweep. Remote inclusion conflicts within the exact listing, so it should not satisfy an essential remote requirement until clarified.

Match the appliance to the placement, not the feature headline

All three are fan-forced ceramic heaters for dry indoor residential floor use, and their own manuals forbid bathrooms, laundry rooms, damp or wet areas, outdoors and unattended operation. The listed front and side/rear clearances are also substantial. Before choosing a tower or console, measure the heater's body and the required space around it. Do not route its cord through an extension lead, power strip or other adapter where the manual requires a direct wall connection.

  • Start with CT24362 if you require 90°/180°/360° sweep, three heat settings, a remote and an eight-hour off timer in a tower.
  • Compare CT22360 if 90°/170°/360° sweep and two heat settings fit, and a timer is not essential.
  • Compare CC24810 if separate fan-only air, powered louvers, a control lock or a 12-hour countdown matter more than a documented full-circle sweep; remote inclusion remains unknown.

None of these source differences establishes which heater warms a particular room more quickly, quietly or efficiently. Lasko publishes 44/37 dBA noise figures for CT24362, but they are manufacturer claims without stated test conditions. Start with the exact outlet, floor area, clearance and supervision limits; then choose the control pattern you will actually use.
