Your room and installation plan

Find a heater whose documented setup fits.

Start with indoor use and whether the exact manual must permit a bathroom. Then decide if the heater must stand on the floor or be fixed to a wall, and compare fan-only airflow, fanless heat, swing, timer behavior, app control and optional body-height limits. Wall mounting still needs its own clearance envelope.

A protection plug, moisture claim or feature from a nearby model cannot substitute for the exact unit’s room instructions. If a required feature, permission or dimension is unknown, it will not be treated as confirmed.

Where and how will you use it?

Portable electric fan heaters are not outdoor appliances. Choose a location the maker approves, then consider whether you need fan-only air movement or a particular direction for heated airflow.

A plug-protection feature is not a water-resistance rating. For CD08200, the exact manual requires a GFCI outlet in a bathroom and separately says never to use it near water; no numeric water distance is given.

If proximity to water is essential, require explicit exact-manual permission. Bathroom marketing, ALCI or GFCI features do not create that permission.

Choose floor placement, a fixed wall installation or a tabletop/desk location only when that form is essential. The 711 and 711S are not interchangeable versions.

This is different from choosing a fixed heat level. The exact manuals may describe thermostat cycling without publishing a Fahrenheit set-point range.

Choose a direction only when it is essential; 360-degree distribution is not the same as oscillation.

This asks for documented horizontal movement only. A numerical minimum sweep angle is a separate requirement; do not infer one from the word “oscillating.”

Two-axis oscillation is different from a fixed full-circle outlet. A claimed sweep does not promise even room temperatures.

An auto-off countdown is different from a timer that starts heat later; select this only if the shutoff function is essential.
